What happens
Carson Napier, aboard the Sofal, investigates the disappearance of Duare, Moosko, and the klangan. Gamfor deduces that Vilor, a Thoran spy, and Moosko conspired with the klangan to abduct Duare and escape to Noobol. Despite the raging storm, Carson decides to turn back to search for them. While on deck, a massive wave sweeps him overboard. He battles the sea, determined to survive, and swims toward the rocky shore of Noobol.
