What happens
The City of the Sundering Flood enjoys peace and prosperity after the threat of the Outland King is delayed by his illness. Sir Godrick strengthens the city's defenses, while Osberne continues to search for Elfhild without success. The following year, the Outland King and the exiled City King attack but are decisively defeated by Sir Godrick's forces. The Red Lad slays the City King, and the Outland King flees, never to return. The city abolishes the monarchy and thrives under a Porte and Great Council.
