The Elf King, sensing the threat of Alveric's sword, withdraws Elfland's borders far to the north, then allows them to creep back near the fields we know. Meanwhile, Orion, hearing elvish horns, cuts off a unicorn from Elfland, driving it across the valley of Erl.
