Chapter 1

Seeking adventure, they decide to visit the reputedly haunted Polucca place, a stone house on a cliff where Felix Polucca was brutally murdered two years earlier. As a storm gathers, they enter the overgrown grounds and explore the dusty, deserted interior. Suddenly, a weird shriek rings out from upstairs, startling the group.
Chapter 2
The Storm
During a violent storm, the Hardy boys and their friends explore the Polucca house. They hear a terrifying shriek, and after a brief retreat, Frank and Joe decide to investigate further, while their friends hesitate. The storm intensifies, and the boys become trapped inside as the ceiling collapses.
