What happens
Bud Means, now a member of the 'Church of the Best Licks,' defends the unpopular basket-maker John Pearson against Pete Jones's persecution. When Pete Jones attacks Shocky, Bud confronts him in a fierce fight, injuring his arm but defeating Jones. Ralph Hartsook arrives in time to witness the fight and feels ashamed for not joining Bud and Shocky in their errand of mercy.
