What happens
Benito, Manoel, and Fragoso search for Torres in Manaus to confront him about his knowledge of Joam Dacosta. They find him near the Amazon, and a duel ensues. Benito kills Torres, who falls into the river. Benito then rushes with his mother and Manoel to the prison to tell Joam Dacosta that he is avenged, but Joam reacts in despair, saying Benito has ruined him.
