What happens
Michael Brixan, disguised, is unmasked by Jack Knebworth after being attacked with ammonia. He reveals he knows the Headhunter's identity and has a special force ready. Adele Leamington is lured away from her lodgings by a fake message from Knebworth, driven off in a closed car by a chauffeur. Brixan and Knebworth rush to Griff Towers, finding the door open, Stella Mendoza in a faint, and signs of a struggle. Bhag appears holding Adele's torn cloak, is shot at, and escapes.
