What happens
Mrs. Tabitha Twitchit loses her son Tom Kitten on baking day and searches the house with her neighbor Mrs. Ribby. Meanwhile, Tom hides in the chimney and falls into a hidden room where he is captured by two rats, Samuel Whiskers and Anna Maria, who plan to make him into a roly-poly pudding. The rats steal dough, butter, and a rolling-pin to prepare the dish, but their scheme is interrupted when John Joiner is called to investigate the noise under the attic floor. The rats flee, leaving Tom tied up in a dirty dumpling, and the cat family recovers.
