What happens
Planter confronts Disbro, who tries to coerce him into betraying a group of wild girls to the Skygors. A physical fight ensues, and Planter is initially outmatched but adapts his tactics. Max intervenes, choking Disbro into submission. Later, the ship is freed from a mud pool with the help of former slaves and even some Skygors. Dr. Hommerson recaps the Skygors' downfall, and Planter decides to stay on Venus, professing his love to Mara.
