What happens
Talbot Wills, Doctor Zoberg, and Susan Gird are found handcuffed in a sealed room with John Gird's brutally murdered body. Constable O'Bryant arrives and, noting Wills's profession as a magician, suspects him of escaping the cuffs to commit the murder. Wills is arrested and locked up in the town hall cell.
