Dr.
What happens
Dr. Kerzhentseff reflects on his madness and isolation, describing his thought as a weapon that has turned against him. He recounts his love for children, his planning of Saveloff's murder, and his courtroom demeanor where he demands to be declared sane so he can be sent to penal servitude. He expresses a desire to join criminals as an eternal reproach and threatens to create a destructive 'explosive essence' to destroy a world with many gods but no eternal God.
