What happens

Vinicius, recovering from his wounds in the Christian house, fears that Chilo might report his disappearance. He sends Ursus to fetch Chilo. Chilo, terrified and cunning, arrives and is confronted by Glaucus, who recognizes him as the man who betrayed him. Vinicius instructs Chilo to spread a false story that he has gone to Beneventum.
