What happens
Mr. Vane witnesses a bizarre encounter between two skeletons—a lord and his lady—who awaken in a ruined carriage and bicker bitterly about their past marriage. The lady binds the lord's broken knee with grass, but their mutual hatred and recriminations continue. Mr. Raven appears, offering cryptic advice about trust and deception, then transforms back into a raven and flies away.
