What happens
The third son of an enchantress, fearing transformation into a wild beast, seeks the bewitched King's daughter imprisoned in the Castle of the Golden Sun. After obtaining a wishing-cap from quarreling giants, he arrives at the castle and learns from the princess that he must obtain a crystal ball from a fiery bird to break her curse. With help from his transformed brothers—an eagle and a whale—he secures the crystal ball, defeats the enchanter, restores his brothers' human forms, and marries the princess.
