What happens
A young boy, Strong Hans, is kidnapped with his mother by robbers and raised in a cave. At age nine, he demands to know his father's identity and, after a year of waiting, defeats the robbers with a club. He and his mother escape with treasure, reunite with his father, and build a new life. Hans then sets out on a journey, recruiting two strong companions (Fir-twister and Rock-splitter). They encounter a dwarf in a castle, who kidnaps a princess. Hans rescues her, but his companions betray him. Using a magic ring, Hans escapes the dungeon, catches up to them at sea, punishes them, and marries the princess.
