What happens
Eunice Weldon, increasingly nervous and waiting for word from Jim Steele, assists Mrs. Groat in secretly writing to Mary Weatherwale. Mrs. Weatherwale arrives but is quickly thrown out by Digby Groat after a heated confrontation. Meanwhile, Digby deals with the fallout from his servants' arrest, blames Jim Steele for the police scrutiny, and learns that Eunice plans to leave his household.
