## What happens

The Hardy boys, Chet, and Biff spy on Mr. Hanleigh, who is secretly measuring the fireplace in the cabin on Cabin Island. They confront him, reveal that they have the key from Mr. Jefferson, and order him off the island. Hanleigh leaves with Tad Carson and Ike Nash, but Frank suspects he will return.
